Managing Director

Rémi has over 35 years of experience in the Mauritian insurance industry. Prior to founding Proxy Brokers, he headed the Corporate Business Division of Swan General , overseeing Property, Liability, Marine, Motor and Financial Lines portfolios. His career combines executive leadership and underwriting authority across complex corporate risks.

Having led large underwriting teams and managed multi-line portfolios, he brings a strong understanding of insurer decision-making, risk evaluation and market positioning. As Managing Director, Rémi defines the firm’s strategic direction and maintains oversight of key corporate relationships and major risk placements.

Kavisen is an ACII-qualified Chartered Insurance professional with senior experience in underwriting, reinsurance and operational leadership. Before joining Proxy Brokers, he held executive roles including Head of Reinsurance & Underwriting and Head of Operations at Sanlam Allianz in Mauritius.

His background includes treaty negotiations, underwriting governance, multinational programme coordination and portfolio performance management. At Proxy Brokers, he oversees strategic programme design, complex placements and contractual alignment for corporate clients.

Her expertise includes technical underwriting, corporate client acquisition, insurer negotiations and portfolio profitability management. At Proxy Brokers, she leads the Health and Employee Benefits segment and contributes to corporate business development initiatives.
